River Road System

The River Road system is not a state-maintained system, but rather a designation of routes along major waterways. The idea is to give these roads designations that are shared among parishes. One number is assigned to each waterway, and letter suffixes denote the direction of the road. Crossings can be designated with high letters (X, Y, Z).
